Al-Zman
Chronica of Agonistic Jewish-Islamic Thought
Al-Zman is a periodical publication and intellectual forum that explores contemporary Jewish-Islamic dynamics. Instead of seeking simple resolutions, it aims to transform hostile oppositions into productive, “agonistic” thinking. By drawing on both intellectual traditions and a multitude of global perspectives, Al-Zman serves as a critical space to analyze the tensions of our current historical moment together.
REPOLIJIS
Rethinking Modern Politics Through Jewish and Islamic Sources
Funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), REPOLIJIS is a four-year comparative research project exploring post-WWII Jewish and Islamic political thought. The project examines how these traditions challenge Christian-centric, European political concepts, specifically focusing on; sovereignty, law, and nation. It aims to deconstruct sources of conflict and offer fresh horizons for modern democratic politics.
